Coaching Clinics offered by North Toronto Baseball Camp are designed to provide coaches with the skills and strategies to effectively coach their Houseleague and Rep (Select, A, AA, AAA) teams on and off the field. All of the Coaching Clinics will be located at North Toronto Memorial Community Centre. There are 2 separate types of Coaching Clinics being offered in 2012:
Coaches will be provided with the technical (fielding/hitting mechanics), strategic (lineups, pitching staff), and administrative (scheduling, communication, and more) skills required to help their teams be as succesful as possible. The focus of the clinics will be on identifying and correcting common problems, and on providing examples of drills and games to re-enforce key teaching messages. Our goal is to help coaches improve every player's development and enjoyment of the game and to help facilitate the positive impact that coaches can have on youth atheltics.Click here for more information on fees, dates and locations

The Advanced Skill Clinics will focus on specific skills in greater detail and at a more advanced level. In addition to providing coaches with the appropriate mechanics to teach players, the clinics will highlight effective drill progressions to re-inforce these mechanics. These clinics will also have a video component, which will illustrate proper mechanics, common errors and drills and activities.
